The Georgetown Environmental Law Review invites you to attend our biannual symposium on April 13, 2018. This year we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary and in order to commemorate this occasion, the theme for the event will be “From Exxon to Paris: A Review of Environmental Law Over the Last 30 Years.” We will be highlighting the most significant moments in environmental law over the last 30 years and also peeking forward to what the next 30 years hold. The Symposium will be held on the 12th floor of the Gewirz Residence Hall from 12 noon until 5:00 PM with a cocktail reception immediately following from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This event will be moderated by Professor Lisa Heinzerling of the Georgetown University Law Center. A keynote address will be given by Hilary Tompkins, a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells LLP. In addition to Ms. Tompkins, featured speakers include:
